A hyrid heat pump uses steam and also uses energy directly from the outside air. This makes it an efficient choice. A heat pump is connected to your central heating boiler. This heat pump delivers a significant portion of the warmth in house. The central heating will only help out when the temperature is too cold outside or if it is taking too long to warm the house. The central heating boiler takes care of the warm water in the kitchen and bathroom.

It is possible to attach the heat pump to the central heating boiler you already own, or you may choose to also get a new boiler. This is a great start to having a house that does not use natural gas.
